Steelers trade prediction adds $90 million superstar to pair with George Pickens.

Much of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ focus during the offseason should be on the offense, where things have gone south over the final four weeks of the 2024 campaign.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to focus on improving their offense during the offseason, especially after a difficult finish to the 2024 season. While the team faced issues on both sides of the ball, the offense has been the biggest concern, with poor quarterback play, uncreative play-calling, and a lack of impactful playmakers. These issues have resulted in a dull and uninspiring offense, and the Steelers will need to make changes to revitalize it.

One area that demands immediate attention is the wide receiver position. The Steelers have struggled to find a reliable top target who can stretch defenses, making it crucial for them to acquire a dynamic weapon. To address this gap, TWSN predicts that Pittsburgh will pursue a trade for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill in the offseason.

Hill, a high-profile star, could be the perfect addition to the Steelers’ offense. He is a game-changing wideout who has the ability to take the top off any defense. Head coach Mike Tomlin is known for managing star personalities, having done so in the past with players like Antonio Brown, which makes Hill a feasible addition despite his diva-like tendencies.

Tyreek Hill recently expressed frustration after the Dolphins’ Week 18 loss, fueling speculation about a potential trade. Hill’s comment, stating he wasn’t sure where he’d be next, further indicated his desire to move on from Miami. This was also highlighted by a change in his profile picture on social media, which seemed to underscore his intention to leave the team.

Although Hill had a tough 2024 season, which was marked by injuries and inconsistent quarterback play, he remains an elite talent when healthy. If he can regain his form, he would provide a major boost to the Steelers’ offense, pairing with George Pickens to form one of the most potent receiving duos in the NFL. However, there are concerns about Pickens’ future with the Steelers.

Pickens is entering the final year of his rookie contract and could demand a new deal. If his relationship with the team deteriorates over contract negotiations or his behavior, it’s possible the Steelers could trade him instead. If Pickens is traded, the Steelers would not only need a replacement but could require two new receivers, further increasing the importance of adding Hill.

The idea of Hill and Pickens playing together could be a risky proposition due to their strong personalities, but the Steelers may not have the luxury of being picky. If the team hopes to inject some energy into their flatlining offense, they may have to embrace the challenge of managing two strong-willed players on the roster. Hill’s experience and explosiveness could make him a vital addition.

If the Steelers decide to acquire Tyreek Hill, it would be a critical move to reinvigorate their offense. Adding Hill would bring a veteran presence alongside Pickens, whether or not the young receiver stays in Pittsburgh. In either scenario, the Steelers need to make bold moves to ensure they have the weapons necessary to compete in a tough AFC.
