Breauna Ware will play her final season of college basketball in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

The 5-foot-7 guard from Queens, New York, has committed to Wake Forest, the university stated on Friday, May 1.

Ware averaged 5. 4 points and 1. 7 rebounds per game in her lone season at Wisconsin. She appeared in 25 games, making 13 starts, but was absent in six of the final seven games. She did not travel to Kansas City for the WBIT semifinals, an absence that coach Robin Pingeton said was unrelated to injury.

Ware, a redshirt senior next season, began her career at St. Bonaventure before transferring to Stony Brook for two seasons, including a redshirt year, and then to Wisconsin.

She joins a squad that finished 14-18 last season, including a 4-14 record in the ACC.

Two additional Badgers have joined the transfer portal: sophomore forward Alie Bisbale and sophomore wing Jovana Spasovski.
