Detroit Lions rookie Isaac TeSlaa is already turning heads in the NFL — and now he’s turning heads in a brand-new ride. After delivering jaw-dropping one-handed catches in his first two games, the wide receiver just got rewarded in a big way.

Over the weekend, Ford Motor Company surprised TeSlaa with a 2025 F-150 Lightning Platinum, a luxury all-electric pickup valued at nearly $85,000. The timing couldn’t be better — not only does TeSlaa’s name sound like a certain rival automaker, but Ford also has deep ties to the Lions, as the Ford family has owned the franchise since 1963.

Ford spokesman Dan Barbossa said the gift is part of an ambassadorship deal, joking that “TeSlaa’s electric NFL debut has caught everyone’s attention — even Ford. We wanted to make sure his wheels are 100% Ford.”

TeSlaa drove his new ride straight to Ford Field for the Lions’ Sept. 28 matchup against the Cleveland Browns, calling the moment a dream come true.

“I grew up wanting to play at Ford Field, and now I’m here driving a Ford — it’s surreal,” TeSlaa said.

The Platinum Lightning is loaded with premium perks: extended-range battery, dual motors, BlueCruise hands-free driving, Nirvana leather, Bang & Olufsen audio, panoramic moonroof, and even Pro Power Onboard to turn the truck into a mobile generator.

This isn’t the first time Ford has handed out new wheels to an athlete. Just last month, New York Mets slugger Pete Alonso received a Ford F-150 after setting the franchise home run record.

Looks like Isaac TeSlaa’s “electric” name is already living up to the hype — both on the field and in the driver’s seat.
