According to numerous sources, Jordan Reid, the wide receivers coach for the University of Wisconsin, is moving to an assistant position with the Atlanta Falcons.

Reid became a Badger in January 2025. Prior to this, he coached wide receivers for the Western Michigan team during the 2023 and 2024 campaigns. Under Reid’s direction, Wisconsin’s receiving corps experienced a down year, but the majority of that lack of productivity may be blamed on subpar quarterback play. Trech Kekahuna, Jayden Ballard, Chris Brooks, and Eugene Hilton had 211, 150, 124, and 91 yards, respectively, while Vinny Anthony had a room-high 391 yards.

Reid, who will serve as the Falcons’ assistant quarterbacks coach, will now be replaced by Luke Fickell, the head coach of Wisconsin. The 2027 recruiting cycle is starting to gain traction, despite the fact that the 2026 season is still over six months away. The Badgers and Fickell will need to act quickly to fill their next vacancy.
