The Wisconsin Badgers’ official visitor list for this spring continues to expand, with several high-level class of 2027 prospects confirming their travel plans to Madison.
On Monday, four-star cornerbacks Raheem Heem Floyd stated that he would be on campus for an official visit from May 28 to 31.
Wisconsin is strongly in the hunt for top-20 cornerback Raheem Floyd.
The Badgers are one of only two teams to have Floyd schedule an official visit, the other being the Indiana Hoosiers, who will have Floyd on campus in late April.
He has built an excellent offer list, with Wisconsin being one of the first institutions to join him. The Badgers were the third program to provide Floyd an offer in April 2025.
Since then, eight additional Big Ten institutions and six SEC programs have made bids.
However, Floyd’s extensive popularity is unsurprising. Floyd is a consensus four-star prospect who attends high school in East St. Louis, Illinois, and is ranked as the 18th best cornerback in the country by 247 Sports.
As a sophomore, Floyd totaled five interceptions, 48 solo stops, 14 pass breakups, and one defensive score.
He got an invitation to the Under Armour Next All-America 2026 game and has attended various prominent camps for top prospects in the 2027 class.
Floyd has unofficially visited Wisconsin twice, most recently in July, and was largely recruited by then-cornerbacks coach Paul Haynes. With Haynes in charge of the secondary, rookie CB coach Robert Steeples has assumed command.
Despite the shift, Wisconsin appears to be among Floyd’s top possibilities.
Last July, the 6-foot-2 prospect told the Belleville News-Democrat that his projected top six were Indiana, Arizona State, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, and Illinois.
At the time, he stated that other schools were still being evaluated and that the top-end was expected to alter with time.
The Badgers have certainly stood the test of time, and they will seek to obtain a verbal commitment from Floyd in the coming months.
