Texas Tech standout Bailey Maupin received WBCA All-America honorable mention after a stellar senior season that established her as one of the Lady Raiders’ all-time greats.

Bailey Maupin added another significant accomplishment to her Texas Tech career on Thursday, winning WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches’ All-America honorable mention and providing the Lady Raiders senior one more national milestone before she departs Lubbock.

The Texas Tech guard will also participate in the Lilly Women’s College All-Star Game on Saturday, indicating how highly she is regarded in women’s college basketball.

The honor concludes a fantastic 2025-26 season for Maupin, who once again shouldered a significant responsibility for Texas Tech. She led the Lady Raiders in scoring with 15. 2 points per game, sank 69 three-pointers, made 129 free throws, and had 29 double-digit scoring efforts.

She also had six games of at least 20 points, finishing second on the team in assists (89) and third in steals (53).

Those statistics helped Maupin earn All-Big 12 First Team honors, and not just by a narrow margin.

She was one of only ten unanimous picks on the first team, demonstrating the season she had in one of the country’s most difficult conferences.

Her best effort might have been on Jan. 7, when she scored 27 points in a road victory against West Virginia. Maupin shot 8-of-15 from the field, made four 3-pointers, and powered one of Texas Tech’s finest victories of the season.

Following that performance, she received Big 12 Player of the Week honors as well as national player of the week accolades from the USBWA.

Maupin’s career statistics speak of a player who made an indelible effect on the program. She ended her career with 1,825 career points, 199 made 3-pointers, and a free-throw percentage of . 835, all while rising into the top ten in numerous Texas Tech record categories.

She began as a promising freshman. She exits as one of the defining figures of Texas Tech women’s basketball during her time.
