Michigan State football has booked an official visit with a safety recruit from Georgia.

Rashaad Silver of Decatur, Georgia, stated this week that he would make an official trip to Michigan State in June. According to a social media message from Silver, he will be visiting Michigan State on June 19.

Silver is rated as a three-star safety prospect in the 2027 class. He has a recruiting score of 86 in 247Sports’ system, placing him 94th among safeties in the class.

Michigan State made Silver an offer in late January, and he immediately ranked it among his top options from a long list of interested schools. He has received offers from over 30 schools, including notable programs such as Arkansas, Kansas, Wake Forest, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Purdue, UCF, and West Virginia.

In addition to his official trip to Michigan State, Silver is scheduled to tour Arkansas, Kansas, and Wake Forest this summer. He will visit Kansas on May 29, Wake Forest on June 5, and Arkansas on June 12 before making a planned trip to Michigan State on June 19.
