Harissoum Coulibaly, a guard for Auburn, said in a social media post on April 20 that she has switched to the Lady Vols basketball team via the transfer portal.
Each step is a component of the tale. On Instagram, Coulibaly wrote that he was fully dedicated.
At 5 feet 10 inches, the rookie was the Tigers’ leading scorer, with an average of 10. 4 points, three rebounds, 1. 6 assists, and 1. 6 steals in 26. 6 minutes per game. She made 45% of her shots from the field and began in 18 of her 31 contests.
Although Coulibaly attempted just four shots, she also made 50% of them from beyond the three-point line.
Coulibaly is the seventh new player for coach Kim Caldwell, who has to reconstruct her whole team going into her third year with the Lady Vols, and the sixth newcomer to come through the portal.
Among the transfer additions are Stanford forward Harper Peterson, Northern Arizona guard Naomi White, Liberty guard Avery Mills, Georgia guard Rylie Theuerkauf, and Georgia forward Zhen Craft. Joining four-star wing Gabby Minus in the freshman class, Irene Oboavwoduo also made a commitment to Tennessee and will be a new addition as a 2026 signee.
With three more years of eligibility remaining, Coulibaly is another crucial addition for the Lady Vols. Every one of Tennessee’s potential returnees went into the transfer portal. Oliviyah Edwards, a five-star forward, was granted her release from her signing, making Minus the only incoming freshman prior to Oboavwoduo’s commitment.
ESPN placed Coulibaly 95th in the 2025 class. During her time at S3 Academy in Bristol, Virginia, where she played high school basketball, she averaged 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
Coulibaly, who was born in Paris, played for Mondeville U18 in France and the Cap City Ballerz.
