Following Kon Knueppel’s excellent season in Durham with the Blue Devils, Duke has made a scholarship offer to his younger brother, Kager Knueppel, a four-star power forward.
Team Herro, Knueppel’s AAU squad, broke the news on Tuesday. Team Herro is managed by the Herro Foundation, which belongs to Miami Heat player Tyler Herro.
Kager is significantly larger than his older brother, who is 6’10. If he were to follow in his brother’s footsteps at Duke, it would not be until the 2027-28 college season, since Kager is now a junior in high school.
According to reports, Kager has other offers from Toledo and Purdue, in addition to Duke.
With three other brothers backing Kager, the Blue Devils are well placed to capture much of the Knueppel family.
