Memphis Grizzlies Forward Brandon Clarke died at the age of 29.
The Memphis Grizzlies validated the news on their X account at 1:05 p. m. Tuesday. “We are devastated by the terrible death of Brandon Clarke,” the organization said in a statement.
His firm, Priority Sports, announced Clarke’s death on social media on Tuesday, stating, “We are all tremendously grieved by Brandon Clarke’s passing. ” He was dearly loved by all of us here, as well as everyone else’s life he touched. ”
In March, the Grizzlies announced that Clarke would miss the rest of the 2025-2026 season due to a right calf injury.
Clarke was detained on narcotics charges in Arkansas in April, and police officials state that his traffic stop occurred after a chase.
