Manchester is staying home.
The Mount Horeb senior stated on social media Wednesday night that he has decided to play for the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team.
During his time at Mount Horeb, Manchester accumulated 2,534 points. That point total ranks tenth all-time in state history.
Manchester received “Player of the Year” recognition in the Badger Small Conference as a senior, as well as first-team All-State honors in Division 2.
Manchester earned 15 Sports “High School Athlete of the Week” honors after hitting his 2,000th career point.
Manchester will be one of seven new players on the Badgers’ squad for the upcoming season.
