On Wednesday, the Detroit Lions announced the signing of veteran wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr.
Wilson was drafted as a sixth-round selection in 2018 by the Dallas Cowboys after attending Boise State. The 6-foot-2, 197-pound receiver is in his ninth NFL season.
Wilson, 30, played four seasons with the Cowboys on his rookie deal before spending the 2022-23 season with the Miami Dolphins, 2024 with the New Orleans Saints, and 2025 back with the Dolphins.
In his 93 regular-season games, Wilson has hauled 126 passes for 1,524 yards and 12 touchdowns. Wilson has also participated in three postseason games, hauling nine catches for 113 yards.
Wilson’s finest season was with the Cowboys in 2021, when he had 45 receptions for 602 yards and six touchdowns.
