The Washington Commanders pulled off a major upset in the divisional round of the 2024 NFL Playoffs, defeating the Detroit Lions 45-31.
After the game, Jayden Daniels trolled Lions rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold with a sharp six-word message.
Daniels continued his incredible rookie season by throwing for 299 yards and two touchdowns while adding 51 rushing yards on 16 carries. The Commanders’ win eliminated one of the league’s best teams and secured their spot in the NFC Championship Game.
Typically known for his calm demeanor, Daniels showed a different side. Popular YouTuber Deestroying shared that Daniels sent a savage message to Arnold after swapping jerseys postgame.
“I’m friends with Terrion Arnold, a DB for the Lions,” Deestroying said. “He told me they swapped jerseys, and Jayden Daniels wrote at the bottom, ‘Cancun on three. One, two, three,'” on his podcast “Kickin It With Dee.”
