According to Rivals, Georgia Bulldogs offensive coordinator Mike Bobo visited Oklahoma Sooners four-star quarterback commitment Jamison Roberts on Monday. Roberts has been committed to the Sooners since March 7, but if Bobo is able to persuade him away from Oklahoma, the quarterback will be a significant boost to the Dawgs’ attack in the future.

Bobo and the rest of the Dawgs’ coaching staff have followed Roberts since the start of his recruiting process. The talented prospect has an official trip scheduled to Oklahoma on June 12, but Bobo’s visit with Roberts on Monday may lead to a trip to Athens this summer. In addition to Georgia and Oklahoma, Roberts attracted attention from several other SEC schools, and the four-star quarterback might soon become a prospective successor to Gunner Stockton in 2027 if he decides to change to Georgia.

During his time at Saraland High School in Alabama, Roberts has been a standout performer. According to the 247Sports Composite ratings, the sought recruit is ranked as the No. 19 quarterback and the No. 244 overall player in the class of 2027. Roberts will try to shine during his senior year at Saraland in 2026, and he is presently the No. 12 overall player in Alabama.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback is a strong athlete. Roberts is a dual-threat quarterback who had an exceptionally successful junior season. In 2025, the Oklahoma recruit had 4,011 total yards, 58 total touchdowns, and just five interceptions. Roberts had 3,370 throwing yards, 37 passing touchdowns, and a remarkable 73% completion percentage. The elusive quarterback had 641 running yards and 21 rushing touchdowns.

If Bobo is able to switch his present Oklahoma dedication to Georgia, Roberts would be a significant addition for the Bulldogs. Georgia is also in the hunt for four-star quarterback Peter Bourque, who will make his decision on May 14.
