And things improved even more on Thursday.

In the previous four seasons, Fermin, who is 6-foot-10 and 225 pounds from Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania, played for VCU.
From VCU transfer Tennessee has received a commitment from Christian Fermin.

To provide depth, the Vols have been searching for another big man to join the team.
In the previous season, Fermin only participated in four games and scored an average of 0. 8 points each game while also coping with personal matters outside the court.
But over the course of his career, Fermin has averaged 4. 0 points, 3. 1 rebounds, and 1. 2 blocks per game.
The eighth transfer acquisition for the Vols during this offseason is Fermin. In addition to returning players DeWayne Brown and Troy Henderson, Tennessee also brought in four high school recruits.
