TOPEKA (KSNT) – A former high school standout is on her route to Lubbock.

Topeka native Kiki Smith has confirmed that she will attend Texas Tech to play basketball during her senior year.

She announced the news on social media on Friday night, saying, “Let’s rock out, raider nation. “

Smith averaged 10. 7 points and 2. 3 rebounds per game throughout the 2025-2026 season at Purdue.

She began her collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College (JUCU), where she led her team to a 37-0 national title and was named the NJCAA DI Women’s Basketball Player of the Year.

Smith spent one year in Arkansas before moving to Purdue.

Smith was a four-time 6A All-State selection at Topeka High School, with three first-team accolades.
