Tonight, the Oklahoma City Thunder will visit Phoenix for Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns, hoping to win its third consecutive first-round sweep.

The Thunder will try to replicate their recent two postseasons, where they defeated the Pelicans and Grizzlies in four games each, even if they are up against a team with players like Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, and others.

Although each of the Thunder’s first three victories was achieved in a different way, they ultimately turned into double-digit OKC triumphs. In the previous two contests, reigning MVP and frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been especially outstanding, scoring 79 points overall between Games 2 and 3.

With other Western Conference series having been extended to five or more games, a victory on Monday might give Oklahoma City some additional respite in the future.

The injury report will undoubtedly have an impact on tonight’s contest, as it always does. Prior to a game that might bring the series to a conclusion, here are the injury reports for the Thunder and Suns:

Injuries for the OKC Thunder:

Thomas Sorber – Right out recovering from ACL surgery

Jalen Williams — Out due to a left hamstring strain

Injuries to the Phoenix Suns:

doubtful – left calf strain for Jordan Goodwin

Mark Williams is out due to his left foot. Stress reaction in the third metatarsal

The Thunder only have two players on their roster. Thomas Sorber, a rookie, is still out after suffering an ACL injury during the offseason, and star Jalen Williams is out for the second straight game due to another hamstring ailment.

Halfway through Game 2, Williams grabbed at his left leg and then left the game. He was later found to have a Grade 1 hamstring strain, which Oklahoma City deemed to be week-to-week. Although Williams will undoubtedly be needed as the squad aims to replicate, there is not much incentive to hurry him back given that OKC is ahead of Phoenix by an insurmountable 3-0.

Williams had 17. 1 points on 48% shooting, with 4. 6 rebounds, 5. 5 assists, and 1. 2 steals per game in 33 games of the regular season.

Isaiah Joe, the Thunder’s sharpshooter, has been formally taken off the injury report after being included to the roster for Game 2 for personal reasons.

The Suns also include two players on their roster, one of whom is Grayson Allen, who made contributions but was sidelined after playing in Game 3. Only Jordan Goodwin and Mark Williams are currently listed.

One of the more significant injuries in the series was Mark Williams, who was absent from Phoenix’s starting center for the first four games.

From Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona, the Thunder and Suns begin at 8:30 PM CT.
