A Wisconsin-based basketball prospect could potentially join a highly regarded program. Kager Knueppel, the younger brother of Charlotte Hornets player and Wisconsin native Kon Knueppel, has reportedly been extended an offer by Duke University.
Duke has made an offer to Kager Knueppel, the sibling of Kon Knueppel.
This marks the most recent offer for Knueppel, who is set to commence his collegiate basketball career in the 2027-28 season. Prior to Duke’s offer, he had already received bids from institutions such as the Wisconsin Badgers, Purdue Boilermakers, Toledo Rockets, Arkansas Razorbacks, and DePaul Blue Demons.
Standing at 6-foot-9, Knueppel is expected to attract additional offers as interest in his abilities continues to mount.
The Wisconsin Badgers have also extended offers to other prospects in the 2027 class. These include Dooney Johnson (who has committed to the Gonzaga Bulldogs), Jalen Brown, Donovan Davis, Baboucarr Ann, Jack Kohnen, Ty Schlagel (who has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers), and Deuce McDuffie.
Duke University often presents a significant challenge in recruiting battles, as the Blue Devils are widely considered one of the most attractive destinations for prospective student-athletes. Furthermore, Duke recently secured the transfer of John Blackwell, a notable player previously with the Badgers, through the collegiate transfer system.
