The Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball team will be without Destiny Howell next season, and the program has now discovered that Kyrah Daniels will not be returning to the squad.
On April 14, On3’s Talia Goodman reported that the Badgers’ second-leading scorer will be entering the transfer portal.
Daniels was Howell’s sole double-digit scorer in the 2025-26 season. She had 10+ points in three of their four WBIT games, finishing her junior season with a 12. 4 ppg average.
The former Missouri State guard will re-enter the portal before her senior season. Daniels will seek to join her third team in as many years, with one year of qualification remaining.
Daniels is the fourth Badger to join the portal. She is joined by fellow junior Breauna Ware, as well as sophomores Jovana Spasovski and Alie Bisballe.
First-year head coach Robin Pingeton established a basis with a deep WBIT run after the squad finished the season on a ten-game losing skid, but she now has a major repair ahead of her.
