The Verdict

By acquiring a quarterback early in the cycle, the Badgers not only secured a cornerstone for the class, but also brought in an outstanding recruiter to the program. The current commits have been highly active on social media, urging additional prospective recruits to join the team.

Now, the class’ quarterback can join these efforts and play the role of recruiter during official trips. Having the quarterback on board so early makes a significant impact, particularly given that Wisconsin will host a number of top remaining targets this summer.

Having the quarterback on board makes a big difference.

The Badgers have nine commitments for their 2027 class, including Sorgi.
