Cameron Boozer and the Duke Blue Devils did not end the 2025-26 college basketball season as planned. Duke won the NCAA Tournament’s No. 1 overall seed after going 32-2 in the regular season, including a 17-1 record in ACC play. However, its March Madness march ended when it lost to the No. 2 seed UConn Huskies in the Elite Eight on a game-winning basket by Braylon Mullins.

Still, Boozer was one of the finest players in college basketball during his rookie year. The Miami forward averaged team-highs of 22. 5 points on 55. 6% shooting, 10. 2 rebounds, and 4. 1 assists each game. Boozer was named National College Player of the Year and a consensus first-team All-American. But, while fans await his formal decision on the 2026 NBA Draft, which is expected to be among the top three, one of his Duke teammates is on the move.

Darren Harris, a 6-foot-5 guard from Paul VI Catholic High School (Fairfax, Virginia), was a four-star recruit in the class of 2024 (247Sports). He was the 40th-best overall recruit in his class, the 11th-best small forward, and the third-best in the state of Virginia.

Harris has spent his first two collegiate seasons in Durham, however he has not played a key role on Jon Scheyer’s squad. In 2024-25, he played in 21 games with a 6. 0-minute average. This past season, Harris’ involvement grew somewhat, as he appeared in 36 games for the Blue Devils, averaging 3. 3 points on 36. 3% shooting and 0. 8 rebounds in 9. 7 minutes per game.

And after Duke’s defeat in the NCAA Tournament, Harris chose to put his name into the transfer portal, seeking to get more playing time elsewhere. And on Monday, he declared his commitment to the Indiana Hoosiers.

“Go time. “Uno,” Harris captioned photos of himself in Indiana gear on Instagram.

Boozer responded to his previous colleague’s decision to transfer to the Big Ten institution by expressing his support for Harris in the comments: “Uno👀👀. “

Boozer is broadly anticipated to finish in the top three of the next 2026 NBA Draft, if he declares, along with Kansas’ Darryn Peterson and BYU’s AJ Dybantsa.
