With the annual Spring Game approaching, the Ohio State football team may have a big recruiting weekend. Many prospects will be on campus for the Scarlet and Gray scrimmage, and the excitement of the occasion might result in the Buckeyes getting many commitments by the end of the weekend.
However, all eyes will be on Pittsburgh the day before the Spring Game, when four-star offensive lineman Jimmy Kalis will announce his commitment live on the Rivals YouTube Channel. Kalis has narrowed his possibilities down to Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Miami, and Texas. The LSU Tigers looked to be in the lead for Kalis’ commitment, but the Buckeyes have recently surged ahead. In fact, Ohio State has made such a leap that the 247Sports crew has made a crystal ball forecast for Kalis to end up in Columbus.
Kalis recently remarked of OSU: “They are very high on my list since they have been there and been very consistent since day one. They create OL at a high level, have an exceptional culture, and pride in moving players to the next level. “
The dedication will be shown live on Friday at 6 p. m. ET. Tyler Bowen’s revamp of Ohio State’s offensive line would be a big triumph for the Buckeyes.
