Florida State’s offseason roster reconstruction continued on Thursday with the addition of Tallahassee State College guard Amare Robinson.
Robinson is the sibling of recent transfer portal addition Anthony Robinson II, both of whom are Tallahassee natives who attended Florida State University School, where current Florida A&M head coach Charlie Ward coached them.
In his rookie season with the Eagles, he averaged 3. 4 points in 12. 2 minutes per game, with four starts while shooting 38. 2% from the field and 21. 7% from three-point range.
He was a three-time high school defensive player of the year.
Florida State has already signed six high school players this season, in addition to four transfers.
